We are back! For those of you who are new here, I started The Warm Milk Journal about 10 years ago when I was a stressed out school teacher, riddled with anxiety, and not sleeping well. In many ways, doing this blog healed me. I found my voice and my confidence. A few years ago, I decided to take a break to focus on my new podcast and platform, Courageously Go!
I had a blast doing the podcast which was a show about living our most courageous life possible. Now I feel ready to come back to my roots so to speak. I have always been and always will be a writer.
Even before Covid 19 became a pandemic, I was considering firing up The Warm Milk Journal. I missed writing and reaching out to all of you. Although I do have my old site “parked”, I have decided to start a bit from scratch with a new look. If this doesn’t work out we can always revisit the old site but I am excited about giving this a try. I welcome any feedback.
So my goal for this “new” Warm Milk Journal is to post content that some of you may already be familiar with such as tips for getting a good night sleep, journal writing prompts, short morning prayers, and essays about living our best life. There may be some new things as well such as haiku poetry, random musings from yours truly, and whatever else that may come up.
I just love fresh beginnings. If there is anything I am learning during this very challenging time is that life is precious and right now we all have the gift of time to assess what is truly important.
I look forward to beginning this journey with all of you.
